WE Inc. believes that EVERYONE has something positive to contribute to our community. We love to bring out that passion and to develop each person's abilities. We offer an array of vocational preparation and rehabilitation services that are geared toward helping people with disabilities or other barriers to employment become and remain successfully employed.
VOCATIONAL EVALUATION
Sometimes a person seeking employment just doesn’t know where to begin and needs help assessing his or her interests and strengths. With WE Inc.’s Vocational Evaluation services, we provide a wide array of tests and exercises designed to do just that, and to point a person in the right direction as they prepare for and seek employment.
JOB PREPARATION
Our Job Preparation services focus on teaching our consumers the traits and habits that make for a good employee. This learning experience is guided by experienced staff who assist each consumer in the development and implementation of an individualized plan focusing on each person’s desires, abilities and experience.
COMMUNITY EMPLOYMENT
Our goal for every person we serve is for them to work toward their vocational potential. For most people, this employment in the larger community. As each person demonstrates readiness, we help them develop resumes, complete applications and practice interviews. Then we search the community for jobs that will be the right fit for each person served – and for each company seeking their next great employee.
YOUTH TRANSITION
WE Inc. provides fun and educational services to high school students with disabilities – aimed at helping them successfully transition from high school to employment or post-secondary education.
AFFIRMATIVE BUSINESS ENTERPRISE
Some of the people WE Inc. serves need the consistency, stability and support of working for an extra-accommodating workplace. WE Inc. is proud to offer this opportunity in our in-house Affirmative Business Enterprise, in which production workers of all abilities work side-by-side and for equal wages as they complete outsourced handwork for local businesses.
WE MADE
WE Made is our own brand of products – created, packaged, sold and shipped by WE Made program participants who spend four months learning the many aspects of employability and social enterprise. At the end of the 4-month program, each WE Made participant will move into community-based employment armed with a valuable new skillset and a drive to succeed.
